Introduction
Use the API Tokens screen to:
Create and manage API tokens.
Assign token roles and expiration settings.
Revoke or delete tokens when no longer needed.
Audit token usage and ownership.
Create a Foundational API token
Click your avatar and select User Management. Then click API Tokens to open the tab.
Click Generate Token.
Enter these details:
Description: Free text
Role: Select from: Admin, Read Only, Remote Extractor
Expiry: Select from: After 1, 7, 30, 90, 365 days.
Click Create. The Client ID and Client Secret are generated.
Save and store the Client ID & Client Secret safely because once you leave the screen you won’t be able to view it again.
Search API tokens
Search API tokens
Enter free text in the search bar to find a specific API token.
Delete API tokens
Delete API tokens
Find the token you want to delete.
Click the 3 dots and select Delete API Token.
Read the warning message.
If you’re sure, click Delete.
